July meme roundup

Welcome to the July Meme Roundup – a look back at some of my memes for the month of July '25. From the ongoing war in Gaza to Australia’s mass immigration intake and the Albanese Government’s $16 billion election bribe, these memes are my take on the month that was.
The war in Gaza

This meme draws a chilling parallel between recent leftist, antisemitic attacks in Melbourne and Kristallnacht—the infamous “Night of Broken Glass” on November 9, 1938. That night, Nazi mobs rampaged through Jewish communities in Germany, destroying over 7,000 Jewish businesses and burning hundreds of synagogues. I like how the angles and framing of the top two images and bottom two images are so similar. It really gives it that "history repeating" vibe. One of the most dangerous historical misconceptions is the belief that the Nazis were far-right. In reality, they were a centre-left socialist workers’ party. Once again, we get an F for history.

You keep using that word "genocide". I do not think it means what you think it means.

From the river to the sea.

The child in this photo is one of many sick kids previously used by Hamas for propaganda. Obviously, they don't normally include the over-weight mother in the shots. Hamas has also recycled images of genuinely starving children from Yemen and Sudan, falsely presenting them as famine victims in Gaza. That’s why I don’t buy the idea that outlets like the SMH, ABC, and NYT were “duped” by the latest fakes. They knew exactly what they were publishing – and ran them anyway.

No need for the force. Just a viral image and a gullible public. Works best on proles, NPCs, the woke and the blue-pilled.
Immigration

Nobody in the Albanese Government can answer this simple question. They continue to bring record numbers of migrants into the country during a housing crisis and have never explained why.

Honesty is not ALP policy. None of the usual excuses for mass immigration hold up under scrutiny. Follow the money, and the real motive becomes clear: boosting corporate profits by growing the market and keeping wages down. We’ll be diving deeper into this in an upcoming article.

This is actually an older meme, but it's one of my favourites.
Labor's $16 billion election bribe

Labor's $16 billion election bribe is costing 20 million Australians $800 each. And they talk about it like it's a good thing.

Thanks, poor people!👍

Why didn't they do it before the election? Should this be referred to the NACC?

There's no public generative AI that can do Jason Clare, so I had to create my own. I used about 25 images of Jason to train a model (lora) for my local Stable Diffusion install. I also had to create a model for the Australian $100 note. Combining models can have unexpected results. Dame Nellie Melba ended up looking more like Jason's mum.
